A typical 2D ring scanner can process 60–120 scans per minute with a practised operator — significantly faster than manual QR scanning on a smartphone camera. At a busy festival gate with 4–6 staff each equipped with a ring scanner, a single entry point can process 350–700 admissions per minute.
