What You Need for a Complete Mobile POS

1. Your Device
iPhone, iPad or Android smartphone. Most UK mobile POS apps run on iOS or Android. iPad is most popular for counter use; iPhone for mobile/tableside.

2. Barcode Scanner
Bluetooth 2D scanner or Linea Pro sled. Pairs in seconds, reads all product barcodes including QR and DataMatrix.

3. Receipt Printer
Bluetooth thermal receipt printer. No ink — just paper. Sewoo 2" or 3" models pair with iPhone/Android in seconds.

4. Card Reader
Bluetooth chip & PIN reader for card payments. Works alongside your scanner and printer for complete mobile POS.

5. POS Software
Shopify POS, Square, Lightspeed, iZettle or a bespoke app. All support Bluetooth scanners as keyboard input.
Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1 — Install your POS app on iPhone or iPad (Shopify POS, Square, etc.)
Step 2 — Pair the barcode scanner via Bluetooth settings on your device. Select BLE HID mode (scan the pairing barcode from the manual). The scanner appears as a keyboard.
Step 3 — Pair the receipt printer via Bluetooth. In your POS app settings, find the printer section and select your Sewoo or compatible model.
Step 4 — Connect the card reader via Bluetooth or audio jack. Configure in your POS payment settings.
Step 5 — Test: scan a product barcode — it should appear in the POS search/item field. Process a test transaction and print a test receipt.
Step 6 — Configure products: ensure each product in your POS has a barcode (EAN-13 or custom) matching the barcode on your physical products.
