Healthcare Mobile POS & Data Capture
Patient ID wristbands, clinical asset tagging and medication scanning hardware.
Healthcare data capture has to be accurate, infection-control compliant and reliable enough to use at a bedside or in a busy clinical workflow. We supply disinfectant-ready barcode scanners, NHS-compatible smartcard readers, RFID asset trackers for clinical equipment and rugged mobile computers for ward rounds and porter teams. Everything is supplied to the same standards used across NHS Trusts and private healthcare groups, with antimicrobial housings, sealed scan windows and full PC/SC integration for NHS smartcard authentication.
Key features
- Disinfectant-ready housings. Antimicrobial cases survive routine wipe-down with hospital-grade disinfectants without yellowing or cracking.
- Patient ID scanning. Read patient wristband barcodes (GS1, Code 128) from any angle, including damaged and creased labels.
- NHS smartcard readers. ACS PC/SC contact and contactless readers for NHS smartcard authentication and clinical logon.
- Clinical asset RFID. UHF and HF RFID tags and readers for tracking infusion pumps, beds, monitors and surgical instruments.
- Medication verification. 2D imagers read GS1 DataMatrix on drug packaging and unit-dose labels for closed-loop medication administration.
- MDM-ready. Compatible with Trust-wide Jamf, Intune and SOTI mobility programmes.
Frequently asked questions
Can these be cleaned with hospital disinfectants?
Yes — all healthcare-rated devices are tested against the common hospital wipe-down chemicals and won't crack or yellow with repeated cleaning.
Do you supply NHS smartcard readers?
Yes — we supply ACS PC/SC contact and dual-interface readers used widely across NHS Trusts for smartcard authentication.
Will these read GS1 DataMatrix?
All 2D imagers in our healthcare range read GS1 DataMatrix on drug packs, blood products and unit-dose labels.
Can these run inside our Trust MDM?
Yes — every device is provisionable through Jamf, Intune, SOTI or VMware Workspace ONE. We supply zero-touch enrolment metadata, MAC address lists and Trust-grouped asset registers for IT operations.
Do you offer clinical pilots before fleet rollout?
Yes — we'll supply a pilot kit of 10-20 devices for a ward or clinical area on a 4-6 week pilot, with the option to convert into a fleet order. Pilot hardware is rebated against the eventual rollout.
