Frequently asked questions
Will the handheld work with our TMS?
We pre-configure devices for the major UK transport management systems including Mandata, Microlise, TruckTrack and Descartes. Bespoke TMS integrations work via HID or SDK.
How rugged do drivers need?
Driver kit lives on the dashboard and goes out in all weathers. We specify IP65 or higher, 1.5+ m drop spec and a glove-friendly capacitive touchscreen as standard.
What about COD payments?
Bluetooth PCI-certified chip and PIN terminals pair with the driver handheld for on-doorstep card payments and refunds. Contactless, Apple Pay and Google Pay are standard.
Battery life across a shift?
All-shift battery is mandatory. Hot-swap battery options and in-vehicle multi-bay chargers cover 12+ hour shifts and split-route operations.
Can we get vehicle mounts?
Yes — in-vehicle cradles, dashboard mounts and printer mounts are available as part of the kit.
Lead time on a 200-driver fleet rollout?
Typical phased rollout is 6-10 weeks: device sourcing in week 1, MDM and TMS pre-configuration weeks 2-4, asset-tagged batches shipped weekly thereafter.
