Handheld ordering for restaurants

With handheld ordering, staff take orders at the table on a handheld POS or tablet instead of writing them down and keying them in at a till. Each order goes straight to the kitchen or bar the moment it's taken, so food starts sooner and nothing gets lost between the pad and the till.

How rugged does the kit need to be?

Pay-at-table hardware lives a hard life — we recommend IP54-or-better printers and rugged iPad cases as standard.

Can we run on Wi-Fi or do we need 4G?

Wi-Fi is fine for most venues, but we recommend a 4G failover router for any operation where downtime kills service.
